Dina suggested we bring our MIX background to the forefront for today's MIX challenge.
Yesterday's WT challenge was all about resist techniques. This glittery background was a failed attempt. Somehow I reversed the top to some heat and stick powder and my white EP. So when I tried the embossing folder resist technique and heated up what I thought was white EP, it was clear and sticky - ick. I quickly covered it in glitter and set it aside. Luckily it worked for today's challenge and it made a very pretty birdhouse.
I am cutting off that piece of the hanging ribbon at the top before sending it. LOL.

What an amazing job you did combining your elements. I love that you were able to use your 'mistake' as the highlight of your beautiful card today.

Your heat n stick and EP mix up sounds like something I would do. i would not have thought of putting glitter on it though. You recovered the mess up and made a beautiful card from it.
