IC1025 - Sunflower Fun

Amy has us visiting her Flower Pot Pinterest Board for inspiration today. Oh my gosh, so many cool flower pots and so much inspiration. Even if you don't participate, you need to look at that pinterest board!

I was inspired by this sunflower pot:

I did a twinchie that was similar to the pot. I drew and painted the sunflowers and then drew out the checked background.

Then, I drew a shaped twinchie sunflower and added a button (twinchies are just 2x2 decorated squares).

I then remembered this great Stamperia Sunflower Art paper and made a card. I fussy cut a large flower and added a button for extra fun.

Black and white gingham and sunflowers seem to be a perfect match. It always draws me in like sunflowers always do. Your three pieces are a wonderful way you have shown such a number of great possibilities that come out of one inspirational prompt. You are amazing, Nancy!

these are all so gorgeous, I love the oomph the stitching adds to the fantastic paper of the card and the idea of twinchies.

I tried inchies once or twice but, I think the bigger landscape would be easier to have a place to rest your finger and hold it I guess.
