 | | Finally, finally and finally...I did Anita's TLC from almost two weeks ago. I attempted it before I left on a family visit but it was a disaster and it's been chucked. I was too rushed and tried to cover too much ground. So I vowed to try again when I got home. I used today's IC to inspire me: https://www.getcasely.com/collection...oral-magwallet
I used many shades of green DOx ink, including the sage color, since the phone cover is called 'sage garden'. I created the base and panels, then cut another set of panels and stenciled the leaves, first time using this set. I just did it randomly as opposed to how the stencils should line up. Added several new sentiments from TH and on the inside, I used some very old Club Scrap stamps. There is room to write on the inside.
Even though this fold was very easy, I'm just not good at measuring or maybe my cutter and scoring tool are faulty...I just don't know. But I persevered and it's all good. Thanks for the challenges! I really love plain, old stenciling and stamping these days. Let the stencils and stamps speak for themselves!! |
