 | | It's extremely rare these days for me to have time to make a just for fun card. This owl was on my desk - have I really only made two cards with it before? That was all I could find in my gallery... I stamped him on white card, coloured him with pencils and then coloured the background, using an old Fiskars texture plate to give a leafy effect to the green part. I outlined his spectacles in silver and added Glossy Accents to his beak and the glasses.
I used partial die-cutting to cut part of a tunnel die in brown Bazzill, which I then embossed with the timber ef. I tucked the owl in behind, and then used die-cut foliage and punched leaves along with silver sparkle and copper Nuvo Drops to frame the opening. The sentiment was cut with a Spellbinders label die and double-outlined, with Nuvo Drops for faux brads. |
