This week's Teaparty is to remember Polly (peeps321), our dear fellow Splitcoaster and faithful Teapotter, who passed away recently after a
brief battle with pancreatic cancer. I will miss seeing her lovely creations in the gallery, and her sweet and encouraging comments on cards.
Jen (Jennifrann) is our hostess, and is encouraging us to find inspiration in Polly's gorgeous gallery, or in her DD bio. She has so many lovely, inspiring cards, and I chose this one as the inspiration for my card. After reading her bio, I decided to include a bit of old sheet music to honor Polly's love of music, and some PP with random numbers as a nod to various jobs she held that involved numbers and data.
I used colored pencils to add a bit of color to the image of the lady, and was inspired by Polly's profile picture to color the top lavender, and add a bit of gold sparkle to the necklace.
I hope my card brings a bit of comfort to Polly's sister and her family. TFL!

Oh, you really created a "Polly" card. I read how you used things that made Polly who she was and I am sure her sis will notice and love, love this card.

I love how you brought so many elements of Polly into this wonderful card. The design is definitely an homage to her taste and talent but the personalization with the music and numbers makes it something even more special and treasured. Polly would love this. Fabulous card.

Great card! As soon as I saw it, I loved all the layers you incorporated. And I loved them even more when I read about how you chose them based on elements from Polly's life. Such a thoughtful, personalized card is sure to be treasured by her sister.
Also, the card you chose to CASE is one of my favorites by her!
