WT1037 Summer days

I have been in a creative slump lately, but I do like fishing, so I turned to the computer to see what I could create. Though different from what I originally intended, I like how it turned out quite a bit.

I used pixie powders and dinkles with a watercolor pen to add color to the water. I meant to layer the card on green then black, but I forgot to trim the green cardstock before gluing it on.

I'll have to look dinkles up. You've certainly added a great texture and dimension to the water. A lot of Europeans come to Ireland for the fishing, but I must admit I'm not that into fishing myself and after spending a few snow-bound days transcribing my then employer's rough copy of his fishing log for the previous summer (they owned a Scottish fishing lodge), I decided not to move up to Scotland with them when my time in their winter home was up.

What a fantastic card, Brian! The use of pixie powders and dinkles with a watercolor pen creates such a vibrant and dynamic water effect. Even though it turned out differently than you originally intended, it looks amazing. The green cardstock adds a lovely touch, and the overall design is wonderful.
