Alphabet Challenge Round 22:
For this challenge round, we are to pick one element from the supplied list that starts with the week's letter and include a second element of our choosing that also starts with the week's letter.
For week 2 for the letter "B", the supplied choices are:
borders, brads, bird
I selected bird and added bokeh as my own choice.
Bokeh - a blurred background represented by soft, blurred circles of light.
I am NOT a morning person, and I have a few worm stamps already, so I could not resist getting this sentiment.
I started with a pink background piece and layered the bokeh patterned paper onto it leaving a small border of the scalloped edge showing.
I die cut the circle in white and then stamped the sentiment towards the top. I hand drew the ground with a tan marker. This turned out taller than I had intended and looked very plain, so I stamped the veggie cluster in green as an after thought.
I stamped the two birds directly onto the white circle and colored them. I layered the circle onto the bokeh pattered paper. Then I adhered this to a white card base, again leaving a small white border all the way around.

I love that sentiment, it cracked me up. Of course, I'm not a morning person so I might appreciate it more than a morning person! Fun card and lovely, bright colors.
