The challenge was a page celebrating fathers. This is the title page for my grandpa's rememberance scrapbook. I traced a stained glass pattern on the back of an enlarged photograph and cut it apart. I then pieced it together on black paper with pieces of vellum that matched his shirt. "Forever" is embossed in white and "in my heart" uses the gel pen.

this is almost an engineering type layout. you say you traced the pattern, so that would have helped, but you had to get the coloring done right or it wouldn't have looking so fantastic. It's beautiful!
