 | | This was made to acknowledge the huge sacrifice made by Australian and New Zealand forces on the beaches of Gallipoli on 25 April 1915.
Managed to get the following into this piece:
- Book paper in the background
- Warm Colour - Red
- Splatters
Also included the die cut frame with three layers.
Started off by creating a background using design papers and a page from a book. Added gold embossed frame around the edges. Must remember to buy a new Versamark Embossing pen as the one I have had for years and years started to fall to bits on me when I was adding embossing ink to the edges of the wreath and card edge. Had to pick out lots of little bits from the embossing powder.
Stamped and embossed the Darkroom Door collage picture and stamped several other poppies and the sentiment. Layered all on top of the background and added three die cut wreaths with some gold embossing over the flower.
