Chris' colors this week immediately made me think of a little bird - brown with a red breast. I switched up the red to Melon Mambo and there you have it!
I admit that I'm stretching the Vanilla on this one. I used Mixed Media paper to watercolor my bird and it is pretty much a cream color, it's just hard to tell since I die cut the bird. So I'll say white is my dessert.
I wanted to use an embossing folder but felt it was too much for the whole background so embossed just the strip on the right.
I had fun playing with these colors and with watercoloring. I have not done that in a long time. I'll need to do it some more.
I hope to see lots of cards in the gallery this week!

Jeanne, your little robin looks so sweet, kinda all fluffed up to keep warm on these cold days! Great watercoloring! I love the embossed strip with the pecan pie just peeking out from the edges. Very sweet card!
