Well today it has been raining quite a bit so I got wet venturing out to the nearest park to get some leaves (sycamore, oak and beech I think I used). I started painting the background but had to stop mid way and deal with a care agency visitor for our elderly neighbour. I then had to re-wet my whole background to finish it off. Once it was dry I stamped the leaves using 3 different colours - dark brown, rust brown and red. I die cut the panel and added a thin gold line around it before mounting onto a kraft card. When bringing it down to photograph I almost spilt my drink of water right over it - thankfully missed and got the floor! Enough wet for one day.

Pretty fall colors and I see a bit of green showing the leaf would still not be completely turned yet. I like that. I am so glad you did not spill your drink on your card.....that would hurt...been there and spilled things on a finished card or mostly got ink from my fingers on one. Not amusing!!!! Super job on the challenge

Definitely know we're reading the musings of a crafter / watercolorist when included in the musing is the fact that we were happy a drink spilled on the floor!! - lol been there - done that! The trio of leaf shapes in the 3 different colors works nicely and I love the organic feel of the die you used to shape your project.

Smiling here with your story of making this beauty. First, I like how you arranged the leaf design and the earthy colors you used. You really created a clear crisp print. Thanks for joining us and giving us this beauty.

I like the variety in choice of leaves...makes a great arrangement. This is very pretty and you had the perfect quote. Sorry about all the "wet" parts of your day..

Perfect sentiment! Wow. This came out so well, Janine. Love the way you lightly captured the leaves too. Amazing. Hugz
