More details on my blog:
Layers of ink

I created a seaside scene in my art journal, using acrylic paint and a palette knife. Start with a layer of gesso, adding shapes such as waves and the horizon line. Place some cheese cloth into the gesso in the beach area. When dry, start painting with a palette knife. As a finishing step, add highlights and clouds with white acrylic paint.

The boats were made from old dictionary paper and design tape. Adhere the tape to cardstock and cut into boat shapes. Stamp sentiments on the background and on paper. Cut the latter into strips.

Thank you so much for looking!
Happy stamping!

Oh. . .my. . .gosh. This is so great! I love how you used the words to make the base of the boats. I could admire this all day long! Love it and added to my favorites.
