The Minnesota Chat 'N Challenge theme for June is "Kids Cards", so here is one for a fine young man who will be 5 this month! This bear is bearing a stack of gifts, and a yummy Red Velvet cake with cream cheese icing, to the Birthday Boy!
Stamped the bear with the Obsidian ink onto sketch paper and masked him off. Masked off a "hill" at the bottom, and blended clouds with the stencil. Removed the "hill" mask, added the negative from that, and blended in a green hill. Colored the bear and presents, and die-cut the scene.
Stamped the hat and cake onto sketch paper with Obsidian ink, colored them and fussy-cut them out. Adhered the hat to the bear's head. Added Glossy Accents to the frosting on the cake, and colored the candles with gel pens.
Die-cut an oval from green CS and layered the scene onto that. Adhered to the triangle background; layered onto green CS and onto card front. The triangle background was a leftover from my bin of leftovers! :-)
Stamped the greeting onto white CS and fussy-cut a banner shape. Layered onto green CS and fussy-cut a banner. Added some blue enamel dots.
TFL!
