To create the background colors, I used Distress Oxide ink pad on plastic, spritzed water on it, and blotted the ink on paper. It took me a few attempts to achieve a background that I personally liked. The stamp and die cut sign are mounted with 3d foam to stick out prominently.

I love that you left the directionals blank. Not knowing where you're going or which way to go certainly makes it an adventure!! I love the bg you made for your inspiration, Brian.

This so reminds me of our summer cottage when I was growing up. We did so much exploring and the lake was fabulous for swimming. Your beautiful card stirred up some wonderful memories.

the colorflow of your background is very fun and I think an adventure is how most play happens in our heads so, the whole theme of your design tickles me. tfs.
