I frequently say the two best parts of my day are returning home from work and falling asleep next to the wife. Now figuring out how to convey this in a card took some figuring out.
As someone who works in retail, closing time is crucial and my main objective during this time is to get back home as quickly as possible.
To personalize the card, I decided to emboss the phrase "Home Sweet Home" in Ranger Yellow.
The other side of the closing sign displays the hand stamped latitude and longitude of my residence.
I used a corner rounding punch, an obscure item I happened to own for some reason other than needing it today. Although it may seem trivial, it actually made a noticeable difference in the appearance of the Closed sign.
Thanks for reading and thanks for looking.

Fun way to signify your favorite time of day. I have to say I look forward to getting home after a day at the office, too. (even though I live alone)
I like the rounded corners on your 2-sided sign and how it relates to leaving work and arriving home.

This made me laugh. I haven't been lucky enough to work in many jobs with a guaranteed finish time, but when you do, it's certainly a time of day to look forward to. Corner rounders are great - you should use it more. I always admire the look of opposite rounded corners on a layer, or even a card base. I stood on my Corner Chomper and broke one of the guides, but it still works perfectly well and I often use it.

This is perfect to represent your fav time of day...I get it..Home is the place to be. That sign was a clever idea to include on this. And don't be dissing the corner rounder...we all have one (true) and it does come in handy as you've discovered today...LOL.

Such a clever and creative way to depict your favourite time of day! I, too, love the rounded corners on the sign and love using my corner rounders. I remember that being a favourite time of day when I worked - home to be with hubby and sons.

Love how you captured the fun of flipping the closed sign!!! Corner rounders are wonderful - I so need to find mine (I have probably had 5 or 6 in my crafting life but currently can't remember where mine is right now). Great card depicting your favorite time!
