I've realized that my quilting scissors resemble hairdresser scissors, but that's alright. They are the only die-cut scissors I own and they reminded me of quilting.
Creating this card was a simple and enjoyable process. I used silver foil paper to cut out the scissor shapes, as using colored paper made them blend too much into the background.
To create the base of the card, I sewed together a mini charm pack and printed out the sentiment. I used fabric glue to attach the fabric to the cardstock, although I'm not sure if it was necessary. My main concern was avoiding any glue smears that could show through the fabric.

My quilting and fabric art friend would adore this card ...and I do too! Love that fancy pair of scissors against the bright fabric background. The sentiment is perfect!

You are very ambitious for a beginner-all your cards seem like they are from an experienced maker! BTW-I just learned about a product called Under Wonder-it is a simply fuse thing you iron and it will stick fabric to paper. I want to check that out-you might too.
I am impressed you went with real foil on the blades. And you sewed! You have many skills! I think it is great you are applying them to cards!
