This week we are sending some cheer to Sharon aka SBinGA, who fell and broke her leg -- OUCH. Whenever I fall I turn purple and blue -- hence my title. But it's not the inspiration for this card. I was inspired by ZPAW Now's Teapot card today: MMTPT772 - A shiny Get Well Soon. by ZPAW Now at Splitcoaststampers. I especially loved the swirls of colors in that lower panel and that made me think AI.
As Sharon participates in a lot of swaps here on SCS, our hostess asked us to use something on our card we had been given. The beautiful, intricate die cut on this card was a gift from my sweet, dear friend Karen (aka Art Deco Diva) and I think she would be very pleased that I used it for a Tea Party card. She inspired me to join the Tea Potters in the first place. I think the die is really made for a mini slimline card, so I only trimmed the side and then mounted on dark purple cs. Added the sentiment and butterfly (of course!) and a few rhinestones (but more than ZPAW). Easy-peasey.
I hope Sharon is cheered by all the beautiful cards headed her way. Recovery is slow, dull and no fun at all; but I think her home will be decorated with beauty, good wishes and lot of prayers for her quick recovery because of all you great card makers. And, I hope your day is filled with beauty and good wishes and lots of joy, too. And please try not to turn purple and blue -- it's no fun at all. TFL

Wowsers, Karen would love this and I do too. Karen was one generous soul! Your alcohol ink background is to die for, Debbie. The butterfly and hugs dies fit perfectly on this!
