| | I stamped the image and the words on Accent white cs using Versafine Onyx Black ink. Set it aside to dry. Die cut the nest die cuts from scraps of tan colored cs, then shaded using a blender brush and CPI inks Sand Castle and Macchiato. Set aside. Die cut the words using an egg shaped die. Colored it with CPI Tranquil ink and Chiffon ink. Set it aside. Colored the main image with alcohol ink markers and a blender brush. Cut it out with an oval die. Found a scrap of egg dsp in my stash. Began layering the elements until I was pleased with the overall balance. Adhered with liquid glue for most pieces, and dimensionals for the half-cracked phrase egg. This will be a thank you card for a friend who still invites me along on their church outings even though she knows I am half-cracked! Lol! (A private joke between she and me, so the card is appropriate.) |
