When I saw Jean's challenge, I thought my card from yesterday would work to do this technique, so I've made another originally inspired by Kyra's card found here: Wonderful Trees by Scrapacat at Splitcoaststampers
I've painted a strip with metallic water colors and let it dry, during that time I've scored the middle of the card where I want to glue my painted strip, stamped the balloons, sentiment and gift, added foam tape on the back of the strip and stamped with majestic blue and colored with metallic water colors and white gel pen, added the flat back stones.

So cool, Anita. I love the strip in the middle - adds so much interest. Another fab case. Hugz

Ooooh, this looks fabulous with the half on/half off stamping. Love the juxtaposition of the B&W with the colors -- and great colors too. Those black stones are the perfect finishing touch. Awesome card, Anita.
