This one is for our ATC the World tour--a monthly swap for the Dallas calligraphy club.
It took some planning to cut the DSP correctly--I wanted larger tulips in front, medium in the middle layer, and smaller tulips moving into the background. It worked. The base and flag are orange because our world tour took us to the Netherlands this month and orange is a favorite color there. They also do a lot of bike-riding, so I used my favorite bicycle stamp.
I stamped the bike on a window sheet with black StazOn. Flipped it over and added color on the back side of the transparency. The tulips and the suitcase didn't show up well, so I layered paper over the transparency, using sticker paper for the tulip basket.
DH did the calligraphy for the flag. I cut out the bike, used a brad in the hub of the wheel to attach it to the card. The flag is attached to the toothpick with tape and the pole is attached to the bike piece with glue. The front of the bike folds in to fit into the album.
