For the Color Challenge with Jeanne as our hostess. Her lovely colors are Coral Calypso, Petal Pink, and Soft Succulent with gems or sequins for the dessert option.
No stamps and ink needed here. I utilized the January 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Sending Hearts. When I opened the kit recently, I saw the Petal Pink card base & elements and what I thought was Calypso Coral. It would be perfect for Jeanne's colors. I was all set.
The pre-printed white heart panel came in the kit. It was printed in Petal Pink and oh no, it wasn't Coral, it was red. Well, to make it work for the challenge colors, I did what no one in Washington DC will admit to doing ... a Cover Up! I punched out Calypso Coral flowers and Soft Succulent hearts and glued them over the red ones.
I did not used the love piece from the kit and instead die-cut my own from Calypso Coral. Then I attached the black scallop trim from the kit, matted with my own piece of Soft Succulent cardstock and adhered onto the Petal Pink striped card base from the kit. For the dessert, I added my own Opal Rounds that are sparkly like a gem.
It was fun to do my own version from the kit using these colors. We hope you will join in and show us your creativity! TFL

Your ingenuity shines through, Diane, with this beautiful and unique version of the PP kit. I love that you went to the trouble of using just the right colors in your pretty card!
