Super cool video, Kia is sharing with us over at the Watercolor Challenge.
I did my base watercolor wash, then grabbed whatever I could find first to do the sentiment that was wintery since I had limited time. It happened to be the SU! Ornamental Pine so here we are.
No WOW EP mixture at my house, so I just used white acrylic paint and SU! Dazzling Diamonds. It worked somewhat. I added a bit more snow with some Snowtex. If my white paint had not been as watered down, I think it would have worked better and I would not have needed the Snowtex.
Hope you are staying warm and safe. We had tornados and thunderstorms yesterday last night here in Central AL. No damage at our house other than lost sleep, but others around us had some.

Nancy, I love what you did with the pine branch and trees in the distant. Awesome job! Beautiful card. Your snow looks great. I thought you may be may having tornadic weather. I don't know when I have ever seen as much lightning as I did around 11:00 or 12:00 last night. So thankful you are o.k. and no damage at your house.

What an outstanding winter card this is! I love the falling snow and snow on the pine needles. Your distant tree line really gives depth to your scene. We have had rain, rain, rain, all week. If it had been the snow that January should bring we would be buried. Glad you are ok!

This is phenomenal! Your watercolors, the design, and the snow are perfect. The details like the snow piled on the headline, and the BG behind the gorgeous pines are amazing.
