Linda presented a video to do Drybrush Grasses. I think I did ok & then tried to add more. That was a mistake & then I messed up my sentiment. I will practice my drybrush technique some more. I even bought myself some 'real' watercolor paint, but I still used some Crayola colors.
Thanks for stopping by.
Edit by me - I fixed the sentiment with this I/O die which I cut in half.

I think you did jus! fine. I like that I can see more of your dry brush strokes and those purple flowers look like daisies while the yellow ones give an illusion of tulips. Easy enough to fix the sentiment by stamping it on a scrape of white and die cutting to a small rectangle or label shape to mount over the top.

What I find is, it doesn't really matter what paint you use ( some just have more pigment) so, if you are getting colors you like with the more affordable ones use them. The colors here are really pretty Karen.

Karen, you nailed this dry brushing beautifully. We are use to doing a lot more water on our brushes for other techniques. Glad to hear you have some new watercolors. They are fun to play with, and all are different. Love your sky and the different colors of the grasses. Happy you joined us this week and gave us this beauty. Fav'd

Karen, I really like how your dry brush technique turned out and I think it is really a fun technique. And, the flowers are so pretty. I like your blue sky with a few white clouds mixed in, also. The recipient is sure to love your card.
