Barbara is our hostess for this week's Color Challenge CC927! She has selected Basic Black, Metallic Gold, and Metallic Silver with the Dessert Option of 'New Years'! These are perfect colors to create a Celebration Design, I hope you join the fun and share your creative take!
Being very limited on New Years stamps, I had to be creative and work with what I had. So this is what I came up with! The black background panel is embossed using the Hive 3D EF. The fireworks are fussy cut from the Celebrate Everything dsp and the bystander is paper pieced with metallic gold paper! The circles were cut from the challenge colors and split in half to create the swish design! This is a busy design but it is a festive one!
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Blessed Happy New Year! Hugs to you all! Thank you for taking a look!

OMG - you are the Queen of repurposing stamps and elements to work in a totally different way!! I would never have thought of using that girl in this setting, but it works perfectly!! And creating the wave design with the silver, gold and black circles is gorgeous!! Kudos to you!

You are so clever, LeAnn! A beautiful and celebratory card to welcome the New Year. The off-set half circles are fabulous. Love it all. Well done with the challenge colors!

If there was ever a perfect time for a busy design, New Year's Eve is the one! I absolutely love the split circle technique and the woman watching the fireworks. Great shine and sparkle on this card!
