 | | This is my first double slider card. It wasn't too hard to put together. I used a tutorial from beccysplace.blogspot.com: https://pin.it/3f1j78v
I used part of a thicker plastic bag for the slider.
Once I had the slider part figured out, I attached the panels. Most people create each panel first. Then I cut the snow drifts and tried to get a continuous drift across the three panels. When it is fully extended, it does look continuous. Next, I put Frosted Lace Stickles on the top of the snow and let it dry overnight.
I cut some trees with a die in three sizes. I stamped out everything you see on the card with Memento black. Then I colored with blends and cut. I tried to keep it to just a few colors. Admittedly, I did make too many ornaments and presents, but I used them all. Just make sure you really secure anything that might get in the slider's way, otherwise it may catch.
I punched Treasured Tags in gold foil as card pulls and added a greeting.
Fun card to make. Easy to cut and color while watching TV. It's my hubby's Christmas card, so I had to do it secretly.
Thanks for looking. If you enjoyed the card, please leave a comment. |
