My card for Teapot Tuesday challenge, Comforting Cards, to use a pastel blue on our card. A young family has lost a baby, and they are in need of sympathy and comfort. I hope my thoughtful bear will let them know others are thinking of them.
The card base is 110# white CS. The main panel is watercolor paper; I did a wet-on-wet wash with light blue watercolor, & used a scrunched-up paper towel to pick out some clouds. The hill was die-cut from green CS using the N&T stitched slope die, & stamped randomly with the bitty grass clump using Mellow Moss ink.
The bear was stamped on mixed media paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, & colored with colored pencils, then fussy-cut. The bitty flower was die-cut using two of the smallest Tattered Florals dies, in two different colors of blue CS. The stem & leaves were die-cut with one of the Garden Greens dies, and parts cut away to leave a small stem & leaves.
Sentiment was stamped with DOX tumbled glass ink on Whisper White CS, then die-cut with the matching die, all from Lawn Fawn Chit Chat set. TFL!

I have to say this card is very poignant. Knowing what this card is for, that sweet bear looking at the single bloom really touched my heart. I am sure it will do the same to Julie. I LOVE your sky and will definitely have to try making clouds this way. It looks super. And so does your fuzzy bear. Wonderful, sweet card.
