I was inspired by Leslie's rainbow, clouds, positive message and a heart. It nudged me to make a card I wanted to create this week.
My youngest DD gave me a stamp and die set earlier this year. After a long road at a tough job with unkind people, she found a great job with supportive co-workers. She has blue skies now! I made the rainbow with sunshine colors because I nicknamed her Sunshine. She always brightens my day.
For the sentiment, I stamped in blue, except for the word YOU which was inked with a sunshine orange. I went over the YOU with glitter pen so it sparkles.
The background came from my stash. I do not remember how it was created, but I am guessing it was Distress Oxide ink smeared on a surface, spritzed with water and then the paper laid down on it. I really do need to take notes! Anyway, I thought the panel looked like the sky after the storm, which is so fitting.
I liked how Leslie used one heart, so I added an enamel heart above YOU.
Thank you Leslie for sharing your wonderful cards with us and for inspiring this card for my daughter today!

Diane, that's wonderful that your DD has a great new workplace away from the older job with the disagreeable people! She's going to love this sweet card .... great idea to stamp the word 'you' in bright orange and add the sparkle and the heart embellishment!

I was loving your yellow rainbow before I read your write-up, but now I love it even more because it represents your DD. What a great nickname for her. Your smooshed bg is gorgeous and perfect to show-off the arcs of yellow. So happy your daughter landed at the right spot and I am sure she will be delighted to receive this wonderful card filled with sunshine and love.
