I was inspired by Leslie's rainbow, clouds, positive message and a heart. It nudged me to make a card I wanted to create this week.
My youngest DD gave me a stamp and die set earlier this year. After a long road at a tough job with unkind people, she found a great job with supportive co-workers. She has blue skies now! I made the rainbow with sunshine colors because I nicknamed her Sunshine. She always brightens my day.
For the sentiment, I stamped in blue, except for the word YOU which was inked with a sunshine orange. I went over the YOU with glitter pen so it sparkles.
The background came from my stash. I do not remember how it was created, but I am guessing it was Distress Oxide ink smeared on a surface, spritzed with water and then the paper laid down on it. I really do need to take notes! Anyway, I thought the panel looked like the sky after the storm, which is so fitting.
I liked how Leslie used one heart, so I added an enamel heart above YOU.
Thank you Leslie for sharing your wonderful cards with us and for inspiring this card for my daughter today!

Fantastic background, Diane (glad I'm not the only one who makes panels and then doesn't remember how I made them!). Love your sunshine-y rainbow and glitter clouds. So happy your daughter has a much better work environment now too!
Diane, this is a great case of Leslie's card. I love the soft blue and white cloudy background you created. I love that you can't remember how made. Sometimes I find stuff in my stash and can't even remember why I made it for. I'm so happy your daughter has found a better job.
