 | | For Polly's MIX challenge: MIX501: Mail Art (9/2/2022) by peeps321 at Splitcoaststampers
I do like Polly's stamped envelopes! And I have one from Gracie on my desk that I thought I could work into a project for today, but I'd have had to cut some of it off. I like a project I can use, so I made a smaller mail art envelope with one of my ATC envelopes. I masked off the inside of the flap (which in the end I didn't need to, as I lined it with some DP) and then used the gel plate, inks , a stencil and white paint. Then I stamped a weathered stamp on it in blue - forget that in the list of stamps used.
Took a while finding my set because I need to reorganise my clear stamps into fresh plastic bags and re-label them. I coloured them with Polychromos and fussy-cut them. Die-cut some foliage from pieces of cling-wrap background and stamped them. Added the sentiment to the envelope, and went through my stash of gel prints to find one to use as the background layer. |
