 | | Our Color Challenge hostess is Jeanne and she gave us a wonderful, bright color combo with the dessert option of summer. While growing up and as a mom, my family has a lot of summer birthdays, so I always associated this time of year with birthdays. I thought this image looked like summertime, and it worked well for the colors and a birthday greeting.
I used blends markers for most of the coloring in the challenge colors with some neutrals. I used Mossy Meadow marker and blender pen on the leaves. Applied some Wink of Stella to the flowers and to the pebbles on the ground. The pillow on the chair was dotted multiple times with each of the of the challenge colors for a fun pattern. Finished with a few enamel dots.
