4 friends and I all card makers in different areas of the US participating in a card kit exchange of our own making. My plan was to make the card vertical instead of landscape. But after I laid it out, I liked it best landscape. This set included beautiful pieces of matching shades of pink/gray paper. The only change I made was the jewels. Naturally, 2 rolled off the table and disappeared under my work table. A wheelchair is not inducive for crawling under my work area! I couldn't get at both of them so I took 3 of my pink gems and used them instead. (sorry card mates) This time I even stamped the envelope. It's now my turn to make up a kit for the 4 of us. Pink top-fold card with a layer of gray/pink woodgrain paper. Over the top is a pink/gray print layer. My friend included the 3D headline, bow, and jewels. All my stamping is in the inside and on my envelope.

This is lovely. I love the angles on this and I agree that landscape was the better choice. Great papers and a beautiful bow. What a fun project. Look forward to seeing more great kits from you guys.

This is gorgeous, Betty! What a great kit exchange you and your crafty friends are doing.
Obviously, I am not getting my notifications either. I was going to try to re-subscribe, but it doesn’t give me that choice.

GREAT sketch and super pretty card, Betty. I often lose my gems - my sweeps are always full of little pretties I have lost. Many hugz
