 | | Congratulations to Cindy H. as Featured Stamper this week = FS790! Cindy has a vibrant and varied gallery that held my interest throughout the slide show.
I selected Country Greeting by Cindy H. at Splitcoaststampers to case for the Challenge because the richness of her blues contrast so wonderfully with her daisies.
I began with the blue background panel, scalloped the bottom edge then used a measuring guide to punch the holes with my CropaDile. Used a piercing guide to *stitch* the other 3 sides, then added white gel pen *thread* and mounted it to the white card base.
I cut a white frame by nesting 2 rectangles, then used the center to stamp and cut out some of my peonies. Used Blends to color the flowers and a marker to add a touch of black to the inner edge of my frame, then adhered frame and flowers to the card.
Made a sentiment tag and attached with twine, then loosely tucked the tag between blossoms. I finished the card with a sweet sentiment inside, a matching envelope and my personalized stamp on the card back.
The weekly FS Challenge can be found here Featured Stamper Forum at Splitcoaststampers so check every Sunday for new inspiration. |
