I have been wanting to try this technique for a while as I have several examples pinned in Pinterest. I cased one of the sea-themed cards for today's challenge and I am finally getting to post a card for CC882. I loved these colors but struggled to think of something at the time so alas - a card with a water theme. The hardest part of this card was laying out the offset lines. It took a few tries. I used stamps from several sea-themed sets. After getting the retiform shape, I randomly stamped with a BG stamp in pool party. Masked each square, sponged BG with pool party then stamped sea image. Once all areas were sponged and stamped, I sponged some areas with gray to offset the retiform shapes. Framed with double stitched frame in navy foil. It needed a little something so I created the seahorse by spraying white CS with altenew metallic shimmer mist (it's very messy to work with), die cut and then stamped the seahorse image in black. Cut three times for extra dimension. TFL

Claudette, I plan to try this sometime this week too - your card and a few others have inspired me. Love your images and colors. Great job with the technique!!! The extra seahorse is perfect. Hugz
