So, I used the same set as her and created a scene. My layout is different and I only used the larger palm trees. But, I did have a sky and sand and birds, as well
I was actually also inspired by my own paper scrap sheet that goes under my stamping projects. I had practiced some of these palms (as they are rubber and tricky to line up) and also had some leftover blending. It looked so cool, that I tried to recreate it to some degree. I used a piece of copy paper to make a jagged edge. So, I used that for blending, but also for stamping the palm tree bases. That was a great tip from Patty.

Michelle, this is a great case of Deb's card. Your palm trees are beautiful but the showstopper for me is your gorgeous soft and dreamy sand and sky background. Those soft colors drew my eye in to the scene. Beautiful work!

This is gorgeous. I love the colors you used on the palms as well as your bg. Thanks for the tip on the torn copy paper for placing the trees, It really makes it look more natural. Your blending is fabulous. It looks more like watercolor. Awesome beachy card. Fav'd.
