Barbara is hostess for this week's color challenge CC882. She has selected perfect colors for sailing! Her color combo is Night of Navy, Just Jade, and Balmy Blue with the Dessert Option 'Water'!
I created this week's design around the dsp New Horizon. The sheet I used didn't have enough Just Jade in it so I sponged a couple of spots to help blend everything together. The circle is also sponged in Night of Navy, Just Jade and Balmy Blue. I was wanting more of the water so show below the boat but I ran out of room, I hope it still counts for dessert! I tried to bring in more balmy blue by adding a matte as it doesn't show in the sky that much above the boat!
I hope you sail along with us this week and join in Barbara's water challenge, I would love to see your take!

LeAnn, what a totally wonderful, dreamy water (dessert!) scene!I love the sailboat against that wonderful DS paper, made even more wonderful by your selective sponging. Love the sentiment banner, too!

Beautiful card. The blurred background is terrific and helps to draw the eye to the focal point. Love the sailboat. Nicely done with the challenge colors. Wonderful inspiration!
