The more vivid one on the left I rubbed the ink over the stencil with my brushes. The other one I placed the stencil with the inks still on it over a spritzed piece of white cardstock. Then I rubbed back over with my brushes and ended up with the background on the right.

Both these backgrounds are great. It’s interesting the different affects you can get with the same stencil. One so bright and cheery and the other sedate and calm. And both beautiful. Great cards.

Both are Beautiful, Liz! Yummy wintry bg's. The right card looks more frosty like when your windows start to ice up because of the difference in temps inside/outside~
