Kati really needs lots of hugs right now and her family is so grateful for all of you Teapotters out there. I know she is going to feel the love and truly appreciate every card she receives. Jacqueline is our hostess and has given us a beautiful poem to inspire us today. I went searching my stamps for hugs and decided that this sentiment was just perfect for Kati who loves boats and the water. Kati is an artist, so I framed my artsy scene. I wanted a dreamy sky with lots of color. I had the stars already stenciled with Paper Glaze for a pretty twilight. The water is also from my background drawer, simply leftover acrylic and glitter paint swiped across the cardstock. I softly stenciled shadows of fish in the water to show that while the bunny looks alone on the surface he certainly is not. I hope you'll join us for this week's tea party and bring some joy into the end of this young woman's life.

Beautiful write-up for this lovely and sweet card, Jenn. Your backgrounds are perfect here and I love the sweet bunny image. The use of these cheerful colors is a great choice.

Awesome card and I love how you added cuteness, color, cheer and "artsy" to this as well as a couple of her "loves" all the while making me smile. I LOVE your idea of the fish being there to support her even if they are unseen. So so true in life for all of us. The sentiment is perfect. I, too, hope Kati feels the love in this card and others she will be receiving. Hugs

That bunny is adorable. Dig those ears.I love those bright colours, and that starry sky. And the shadowed 'support' fish are the perfect symbol. I hope she will feel the love.

This turned out great and all your bits and pieces look like they were meant to be part of the whole from forever. I love the illusion of not being alone with the softly stenciled fish in the water. It's all in how we look at life.
