This is my card for Teapot Tuesday. Our challenge is to get out of our comfort zone and try something new. I went with retiform technique and boy is this out of my comfort zone. Several attempts later and I'm more comfortable with the technique and my submission. Why is that instruction videos always make the technique seem so easy. I think my perfectionism and need for balance gets in my way. Anyway, I had no racing or mountain stuff and my camping stamps were not going to work with this technique so I went with classic masculine images. Enjoy!

John will love this card for sure. Your retiform technique is great. When he sees this card it will bring back memories of his father and the stories his Dad told him about their drives on Sundys in hiantique car like the one you selected. Thank you so much for making a card for John.

Your retiform technique makes a fantastic masculine card for John! Great job!

Your card turned out fabulous. I love the design and the masculine images. Staying monochrome with the browns was an excellent choice. Perfect card for a guy and especially for a car enthusiast like John. That car just dominates the scene and the other images really make it stand out. Awesome card.

I can relate to the whole instruction video thing, but I think you pulled it off beautifully. Great masculine images, and you did get a classic car in there. John will enjoy this card for sure!

I remember when retiform was all the rage - I was more concerned with "will this stamp fit in this shape" than with balance - lol I think you have conquered this technique and have put together a marvelous card.
