What fun this has been! I love getting to know the fellow teapotters a bit better and this week we are challenged to share our collections, whatever they might be.
Besides my large collection of rubber stamps, I have a collection of snow globes and also collect roosters and chickens. The salt and pepper shakers in the photo are one of only a handful of items that remain from my hubby's birth mother who passed away when he was very young. My love of roosters dates back to the ceramic cookie jar my mother had and brings back memories of trying (usually without success) to remove the lid and sneak a snack. I and several of my siblings wanted that cookie jar when Mom passed. I didn't get it.
My snow globe collection has largely been gifts from one person or another, each one special. They remain in storage until I decorate for Christmas.
For this card, I chose an autumn scene, not being ready for snow yet. I had intended to make a water card but that proved challenging. Turns out my bag sealer is toast but I only discovered this after 3 or 4 bags broke ruining several nearly done cards. So plan B and a shaker card instead.
This card will go to a fellow teapotter. Enjoy!

What a fun card this is! Great idea to combine your love of snow globes and roosters/chickens. I have the latter in my kitchen And who doesn't love a snow globe....those are always magical.

Pretty fall colors and the sparkly bits in your shaker look like fallen leaves from your autumn trees. I bet it was hard to pick which collection to feature today but you managed to cover 2 of them with the chickens and snow globe!

I really enjoyed reading about your collections, and am sorry you didn't get the cookie jar! those S & P's are cute, and the snow globe is wonderful. Also sorry you had such trouble with the bags. I never can get that technique to work!! TFS.

Fun reading about the cookie jar! I have our old family one, a mouse on a grandfather clock. I love the little salt and pepper ones, they are reminding me of a Tom & Jerry cartoon, DH will probably tell me which one. And the little row on the card is sweet...enjoying the autumn leaves falling down.
