Another dps for our Bermuda trip. The DCWV paper pack I bought the other day, I have loved the most.
My journaling reads:
Tuesday, August 9, 2005 Day 3 - Bermuda
Land Ho! I was up early enough to see the sunrise. Beautiful. I had the guys get up at 7:00 am for breakfast and to meet for our Charles Island snorkel trip. It was beautiful trip. Well letÂ’s just say out of the four of us I was the only who actually got to snorkel. Both of the boys were fussing that they had sand in their flippers or their cheap goggles were filling up. I think Kyle was nervous about the depth of the water. So I ended up taking Nicholas on a boogie-board that had a window so he could see down into the water. We went out over the reef and saw some large parrotfish; sergeant fish and some I would have to look up. I decided to check on Steve and Kyle. As I was pushing Nicholas back I saw one of KyleÂ’s flippers in the water and knew Steve and Kyle were land bound. After dropping Nicholas off to Steve I went back to retrieve the flipper. I actually dove down and got it. I was surprised how easy that was. I had never done that before. So I ended up pushing Kyle on the boogie-board so he could see the fish. On the way back to the Ship our snorkel guides pointed out some of the building and forts. The water was warm and the color was clear and blue. Tonight was tropical casual attire for dinner. The boys wore their Hawaiian print shirts. We had Mahi Mahi and steak for dinner. We brought the boys to Kids Crew were they danced (or the other kids did), did the limbo and played games. Steve and I went to the Rendezvous Bar to play name that tune. It was kind of hard since the guy was playing it on the piano with no words. We got one out of 20. Pathetic.
