 | | I spent a LOT of time trying to sketch my image - I redid the spoon at least a half dozen times trying to get the perspective right. Still not perfect but then I have to remind myself I am still a beginner at this medium! The actual painting went MUCH faster than the sketching . . . It is difficult for me to keep my rounds round but by the time I added spatters and stains, I think it helps with the overall perspective, too. I Added the SU sentiment with Gathered Twigs ink then die cut my painting with a lace edged rectangle - I think that makes it look like the cup is sitting on a fancy placemat. Mounted on cantaloupe colored card base for a little extra warmth. |
