I made this card for a friend that has been in the hospital battling covid. The paper is retired SU paper. I came across the "challenge" while looking for ideas for a card and decided to make this card. I didn't realize the challenge had JUST been posted and when I did notice I decided to go ahead and share my card.

Well done to do a TLC challenge for your very first card! And it is splendid. If you like folds, Anita, the creator of this challenge, will tend to have lots of them; I think she designs them all herself. Welcome to uploading at SCS! I hope you check out the other challenges on the homepage...lots of fun and inspirational. Any questions, either click on 'help' at the top of the page or 'forum', then scroll until you see 'start here.' I'm on the TLC design team also so, while I'm partial to that one, I love them all!

Beautiful fold and a beautiful card. Your dp and die cuts are lovely and they have such a calm yet warm feel to them. Perfect for a card of support to a friend. I'm sure they will treasure this beauty.

What a beautiful combination of dsp and congratulations on entering your first challenge. Beautiful encouragement card, so pretty. Welcome to Splitcoaststampers!
Thank you for your kind welcome! I have been using this site for several years now, and I think I may have posted some cards years ago, but they are no longer here. I came across the challenge while looking for ideas for this card and didn't even realize it was a current challenge when I decided to use the format for my card. I enjoyed making this and will certainly make more cards using this format.
I usually just visit the site to get ideas and never think to come back and post, but I will try to post more. There's some very lovely work here.

Welcome to the SCS gallery! Beautiful get well creation in lovely colors. I just learned of a dear one down with Covid today, so I need to follow your lead and get some well wishes off to her. Thanks for the nudge!
