We are thinking summer. My first thought was the sea - and in the end I did get time to make a sea card too. But with a full-on weekend and quite a busy start of the week lined up, I made this first using an image that was stamped and sitting on my desk - with a bee inspired by the teapot. Coloured the image with Couleur d'Art pencils, then put the stencil over and dabbed Versamark through. Embossed with silver and sponged with blue. I used Spellbinders border dies to cut both the main panel and the front of the card base. Added stitching round the straight edges. The bee's wings are holographic card. |
