It is my turn to host the WCW challenge this week and I have picked a video by one of my favourite teachers, Paul Clark called . I love loose watercolour, which is what I picked. I hand drew the bee which is why it is too big, and because I had a big bee I painted a big flower. You see my logic here don't you? There is more information on my blog. I hope you will join us today.

Just perfect, Kia. I think I am jealous because I tried the loose bumblebee and it did not work out.
I love yours. Awesome work on this challenge you chose.

Since I am a tightly controlled watercolorist (most days) I spent alot of time just taking in the subtleties of your flower & bee. I am amazed at all the variations of light & dark in your misty flower and the blends of color in that bee. Love your spatters - mine always look like misplaced globs which is why I avoid them like the plague.
