I started a Travel the World card series in 2019, committing to virtually visit a different randomly-selected country each week (for 50 weeks), gathering tidbits of information about the country. I love to travel and this is one way I can "visit" countries that I might otherwise never see. As I learn about each country, I choose something about that country as inspiration for a card.
There are 195 countries in the world so in the first two years of this series I've "visited 100 countries, which means I still have quite a few to go.
This card is inspired by Angola, where nearly 20% of the land is classified as forest and woodland with its plantations of eucalyptus, pine, and cypress trees, as well as its Rain Forest region.
Please visit my blog for more photos/information about both Angola and my card...

This is a great bi-color card.
What an amazing & terrific idea for motivation-this traveling of the world! I wish I had known about it from the beginning! I am going to try to backtrack and see all the cards you have made so far! Maybe one day I will do the same challenge. I have not been anywhere.

I'm enjoying your pictorial trip around the world with your cards each week. You also give us some information about the country featured which I also enjoy. This is a lovely card to represent forested land.
