I made this card for my DH. It's a photo I took of him and my DD a couple of weeks ago at a park. I did the handcoloring with a photo editing tool... just her dress is colored. I printed the photo onto vellum cardstock, and once it dried, I trimmed it and mounted it with vintage brads onto vanilla cardstock. I used certainly celery to layer along with the chocolate chip because it was the color of her dress. And the chocolate chip because I wanted it to go with that aged photo look... The photo is a little blurry because it was printed on vellum, but that's the look I was going for... soft and muted. It's not the best photo to show a father/daughter relationship, except that it shows how she is at this age... always running from us! But it was the most recent photo of the two of them I had.

Did he love this, or what?! It is an awesome card and you did a wonderful job on it. This sounds like a neat thing to do to photographs; I love the aged/vitage/muted look! Tfs
