I am in a spring cleaning mode in my basement, which is where I stamp. I also was looking for some ephemera from my grandpa, looking for Easter stuff, when I came across a bunch of beach themed postcards etc. The postcard is embossed and has some gold metallic in places. Not sure why he had them, except he did like cards and he grew up in a German speaking household. I hate to cut things like this up so I used it whole, used a gel print background from my stash (which you can barely see), tore up an old WI map showing some of the beaches along Lake Michigan. I love how the middle lady has a little bit of a stomach, not stick thin back then. One of them is called Kohler Andrea State Park and I've gone there several times. I had an eye surgery when I was about 8 and we went there for a getaway, although I couldn't get my head wet.
Sabrina, love maps (I think you knew that) and thanks, Dana, for the beach VSN.

No, actually - I don't think I did know that you love maps. Irish lakes very rarely have beaches, I always find it hard to wrap my head around the fact that other countries have lakes that do, although I have swum in several in France. Great vintage postcard!
