When I looked at the double gate fold cards I was drawn to the ones where the paper was monochromatic on both sides. In looking through my stash I found this very old DSP in More Mustard the has a stitched look on one side.
I went with that and found my Needlepoint Elements die set with this stitched pattern die. I cut that close to the top so you can see it peeking out. Then I went with the Pierced Blooms flowers to continue a needlework look.
Because the inside of this has the pretty stitched flowers I used this stamp from Band Together. I'll post a photo of the inside.
However, after making this card, I realized that I put the lower rectangles on backwards! The points were supposed to be on the outside, not inside! (You can see this on the other photo.)
Oh well. It alters a bit but the general idea is there.

This card is beautiful inside and out. Perfect sentiment with the papers and design. Love the stitched flowers on the dp and with your die. Great card.

The stitched theme on inside and out really coordinates all elements. I love how you used the bright blooms with the gentle bumble bee foundation color. Thanks for making such a delightful sample for the sketch challenge.

The sentiment on this says it all! Your card is Beautiful inside and out! Love the old paper you found - looks like it was made to go with these die cut flowers and the pierced bloom inside is just lovely peeking out of the top!

Jeanne, I love the idea of carrying your stitched theme throughout your design, the stitching on the inside panel is a beautiful accent and perfect placement for the area that was blank. Love your idea's my friend! You are an inspiration!
