This is my sample for CC831. Karen is our hostess and she chose flirty flamingo, pear pizzazz and mango melody for her color trio. Dessert option this week is a stitched die cut.
I stenciled a background with pear pizzazz ink using a blending brush and a stencil brush. This is the first time I have tried the Bristol smooth cardstock and I really like how it accepts color.
I used the Poppy Stamps Massa Leaf die with mossy meadow cardstock and then added a stitched frame also in mossy meadow.
The stitched tulip is a die from CottageCutz, I added a few butterflies and some flirty flamingo enamel dots. The sentiment is from a Penny Black set.
That's my card for this week. Hope you can play along. Karen has given us some great colors for flowers.

Well! You certainly have mastered the technique of stenciling on Bristol paper, Mary! What an amazing background you created! I love how the design fades out at the top left corner. Very "organic." And what a pretty arrangement in the center--I love the sweet stitched tulip and all the leaves and butterflies! Such a lovely card!
