This is my sample for CC831. Karen is our hostess and she chose flirty flamingo, pear pizzazz and mango melody for her color trio. Dessert option this week is a stitched die cut.
I stenciled a background with pear pizzazz ink using a blending brush and a stencil brush. This is the first time I have tried the Bristol smooth cardstock and I really like how it accepts color.
I used the Poppy Stamps Massa Leaf die with mossy meadow cardstock and then added a stitched frame also in mossy meadow.
The stitched tulip is a die from CottageCutz, I added a few butterflies and some flirty flamingo enamel dots. The sentiment is from a Penny Black set.
That's my card for this week. Hope you can play along. Karen has given us some great colors for flowers.
I like how you added mossy meadow to the mix of colors, it provides contrast and one notices the pinks and yellows more... the stenciled background you did is perfect, too!
